Just before entering Apollonas village from Naxos Town, you can admire the 10.5 metres ancient marble Kouros (big statue of a male). The tower of Agia (now in ruins) with its bird's eye view of the Aegean is also worth visiting; it wont take much of your time. It is on your way to Apollonas, 28km from Naxos Town.
If you wish to swim before reaching Apollonas, then Abram beach is the perfect choice.
