Message from the owner
My first visit to Naxos was in 1975, which is when i met my beautiful Naxian wife and owner of the building which hosts our rooms. It was love at first sight. It was she who later on convinced me to create Kapetanos Rooms, even when the island was still unknown to the vast majority of tourists.
In 1998 and after a full renovation, Kapetanos Rooms opened its doors to welcome its first guests. Since then, we've been accepting clients from all over the world and we consider ourselves lucky to be able to enjoy Naxos, even for the limited spare time we have.
My favourite place to swim at is Saint George beach. Why? Because it is lively and so easy to access from our rooms. Even a half an hour gap between my tasks as accommodation owner is enough to help me relax and take a plunge at its shallow waters. As for the magnificent villages of Naxos, Apeiranthos is in my heart and i try to get there whenever i get the chance.
From our first day of operation till today, we operate our accommodation with great respect for our clients, making sure that they have the cleanest rooms ever and that they always feel welcome. It is not just because it is our job, it is our pleasure. This is why most of our clients are repeat customers and they too share the same enthusiasm for Naxos island and especially Naxos Town.
