Agios Ioannis Theologos

On the steep clifs of the mountain which is located east of the town, the small church of Agios Ioannis Theologos is distinguished like an eagle's nest. It is built in a cave of granite, so that the only walls needed to be constructed were the face and the bell tower. The old frescos on its walls show that it is dated before 1200 A.C.
