Next to Panormos beach there are the remnants of the prehistoric acropolis of Panermos. They can be accessed on foot. Psili Ammos is the closest beach. As there are no taverns in the area, it is best to plan ahead and carry with you some water and snacks, especially if you are accompanied by young children.
