Alkyoni Beach Hotel is located on the far side of the main town castle area at the most popular beach of Naxos Island, the beach of Saint George. A beach with warm shallow waters and plenty of places to eat lining the area some at the very edge of the beach head. The beach is known for its clear water and fine golden sand and it is only 40m away from the accommodations.
The structure has a traditional Cycladic architectural flavour and the types of rooms our establishment has can accommodate from two to three people at a time per room. All our fine studios and apartments have a lovely frontal or side view of the sea, pool, garden or castle, most from their private balcony.
We offer 40 comfortable double and triple rooms as well as a swimming pool with a children’s pool and a poolside bar for the refreshments or drinks day or night. The rooms are fully equipped with a/c, heating if you want it, complete bathroom, satellite TV, hairdryer and mini fridge. A gym is close by for relaxation and rejuvenation. During our years of operation, we have become renowned for our exceptional services.
Alkyoni Beach Hotel is at the edge of the town, only 300m and just a little more to the castle. The proximity to the centre of the town make this hotel a firm favorite for those who want everything close by but not too close by. Everything is easily accessible!
The closest beaches are Stelida and Agios Prokopios considered the most beautiful of the beaches available. And in the opposite direction, those of Vintzi and Grotta beach which is a shielded beach where people go to have a quick dip to cool off away from crowds. There are umbrellas and sun-beds for hire at Agios Georgios and Agios Prokopios but not at the others. All the nearby beaches are accessible by foot if you want a change of beach or to add a short walk to your daily activities.
The castle is the closest medieval historical site and “Portara” is the closest ancient site, which is only a short walk away if you want to have an alternative activity for the day. Parking is not available at Alkyoni Beach Hotel, car hire establishments are close by if you want to venture farther into the island or take a tour around it.
