Lagos Mare Hotel is a 4 star facility located in the general area of what is probably the best and most famous beach on the Island of Naxos, that of Agios Prokopios. The number of rooms is 28 with the addition of 2 suites. The establishment is only 200 metres away from the beach of Agios Prokopios which offers an alternative choice to our swimming pool. The beach of Agios Prokopios has been voted one of the most beautiful worldwide. One of the beaches best features is the smooth thick grained tiny rice-like pebbles that fall off on their own. The sound of the waves on these pebbles is sublime. For your extra comfort and convenience, there are both umbrellas and sun-beds for hire as well as a shower for a quick rinse. The beaches of Stelida to the north and Agia Anna beach and Plaka beach to the south are accessible by foot if you want a change from Agios Prokopis or to add a short walk to your daily activities.
Yria is the closest historical site which is only a short drive away if you want to have an alternative activity for the day.
