Joanna Apartments is a 7 two room apartment complex located at beautiful and exciting Mikri Vigla, approximately 900m from the beachhead on a 6000 sq.m. plot of privately owned land with vineyards and trees surrounding it. Why is this exciting? The offshore area is an ideal spot for windsurfing and kite surfing due to the very strong winds. The types of rooms our establishment has can accommodate two to four people at a time. All are fully equipped with a/c, kitchenette and other extras ensuring they can cater to all your needs. All our fine apartments have a lovely sea view and private balcony.
The structure has a Cycladic architectural style, overlooking the sea to the one side and the mountains to the other with a large beautiful lawn to complement both.
The establishment is an easy 900 metres walk from the beaches of Mikri Vigla which offers a northern and southern facing beach and Kastraki, a wide and long stretch of luxurious thick grained magnolia coloured sand for the Mikri Vigla beaches and a fine grain for Kastraki. There are plenty of umbrellas and sun-beds for hire at certain areas of these long beaches. Both are accessible by foot if you want a change of beach or to add a short walk to your daily activities. Parking is freely available at Joanna’s Apartments spacious parking area. This will allow you to have easy access to your vehicle for your excursions to discover Naxos island.
One such excursion will take you to Oskelos tower. It is the closest medieval historical site which is only a short drive away. If you want to explore Naxos a bit further away, you can get to Naxos Town after a fabulous drive, or just visit Agia Anna and Agios Prokopios instead.
One of the foremost reasons for selecting our rooms is the peace and quiet they offer away from all noise and distraction, if you want to enjoy a little seclusion, this is a good place to be!
Another reason for selecting our apartments is that it saves you more money to lengthen your stay because all have a kitchenette. This will prepare a meal or snack of your choosing or help you with particular eating habits. You can enjoy your meals the peace and quiet of our sea view balconies and save money at the same time. However, there are many taverns close by, some of them almost on the beach.
Our accommodation units are ideal for couples and especially families that want quiet holidays but still close to bars & clubs in the area and for a larger variety of local foods you can always visit close by establishments such as taverns & other family spots. We also allow dogs and have kennels close by for their evening stay, but not too close to disturb other guests.
Apart from the fact that we run a good and clean establishment with all the facilities necessary to make your stay a pleasant experience, both beaches are fantastic and large so as not to be crowded.
All our rooms are fully equipped and have either a private balcony or veranda for a quiet night of rest and relaxation with quiet conversation.
